The statue of Mance Lipscomb is now a reality! It arrived August 2011 and is located in the Mance Lipscomb Park in downtown Navasota. Present for the dedication were Artist and sculptor Sid Henderson and Michael Birnbaum, close friend of Lipscomb, who performed with him numerous times in California. 

Birnbaum spearheaded the effort to erect this statue with support from local businesses, citizens, Navasota Economic Development Corporation, Bluesfest fans and anonymous donors.
